Unusual Attitude Recovery Training

Continuing education is important to being a safe and proficient pilot! Practicing some of the more extreme maneuvers is all about knowing the handling characteristics of your airplane in a variety of configurations and scenarios. This training will give you the confidence and proficiency needed to deal with unusual flight situations...

This is a basic outline of some of the subjects to be covered in this course!!!

* Approximately 3 hours of ground training consisting of accident scenarios, taildragger operations, aerodynamics, parachute basics, spin fundamentals, emergency procedures, situation awareness, safety considerations, unusual attitude recoveries and associated hazards.. AND

* Approximately 5 hours of flight training in the Citabria consisting of coordination exercises, slow flight/MCA, cross-controlled stalls, a variety of interesting demonstrations, steep turns, unusual attitude recovery, simulated flight control system failures, steep spirals, spins, split S avoidance, lazy eights, falling leafs, wing overs, and inverted flight!

8 weeks on Monday and Wednesday nights, from
6:30 PM to 9 PM
